Greetings,
Just got the game for Christmas, and would love to say that I'm enjoying it, however every time I try to start a mission, the game seems to be locked in "Game Paused" mode. I searched the ubi.com website, and it seemed to be a documented problem, but the fix they provide (replacing the main.cfg file) didn't work. I tried searching the forums here, but couldn't find anything. Anyone have experience with this bug? Thanks. -IC |

Try to delete the files inside \mydocuments\sh3\data\cfg, that could help.

I believe this happends when you install a mod while your on patrol, which will cause you to stay in pause mode. Happend to me a while ago.
Not sure if anyone else has this problem but I notised if im on patrol in my carrear and my ship is damaged by a depth charge or a destroyer hitting me with its deck guns, if I save my game and try to reload it my game makes a very loud hiss/air sound. Kinda anoying but it makes me be more carful when on patrol :P Wolfy

The hiss/air sound is a minefield when it is improperly generated by SH3. The mines are creating that hiss sound because they are being spawned below the underwater terrain, and are therefore exploding.

No fix is available. The workaround is to modify or delete these sounds:
Collision_AntiSubmarineNet_ext Collision_AntiSubmarineNet_int
