Default What's your weapon of choice?

Gotta go with steam torps, although I do like shooting it out on the surface with HE!

Steam is the way to go for night and bad weather attacks, Electric for day attacks, Deck gun for knocking off damaged ships and small fry, AA for fishing boats, coastal ships and tugs.

Boarding party when all ammo is expended

I like to keep at least one electric in a forward tube, and in the rear tube. But the rest of my loadout is steam because I don't do much shooting in ports. Port shooters should carry nothing but electric, because you'll want maximum distance when you shoot.
