Why do they always put out sacles other than 1/350 or 1/700?

Maybe because there are already quite a few models in 1/350 and 1/700 scale.

Personally, I prefer 1/350 for my modern subs. I have Trumpeter's 1/144 Seawolf (SSN-21), and it's HUGE!

I just got this kit, and it is very nice. A good complement to the earlier U206 and U2540 kits from Revell. I like the 1/144 scale very much. A lot more detail than 1/350, yet not as gargantuan as the 1/72 kits (although I have those too).
Of course if you're pressed for shelf space, then the smaller scales are more attractive. |
