Default What would you have done??

HI All,
15th patrol, assigned area CC22, I think - off Norfolk, USA anyway. It has taken days at slow speed to get this far, but now there's less than 1000 km to go...But Wait! Priority message from BdU: Task force spotted, course SE, speed 7kts - my first task force, this is too good to be true!

And it was : The TF is north of New Foundland, and they are just under 1000 km away! That will cost a lot of fuel, and if they change course, I'll never find them. Even if they don't, I'll probably never find them, unless I'm really, really precise with my plot!

So I decided to struggle on towards my patrol area... But my question is: What would YOU have done?

I`d propably go for the Task Force. There reown you get from sinking ships is far more better than what you get for patrolling the grid for 24hrs.

It would depend if I could get a good intercept on it. No good to try and chase it down.

DAMN IT!
Now I know what I should have done: Cheated! Yes, I should have saved the game at that time and gone after the fleet. But it didn't even occur to me, since I play strictly by the book: Dead is Dead and all that. Arrgh!

Well, too late now
