Default Where are the genuine speed telegraphs?

Hi there,

I was wondering why we finally got those simple telgraphs we now have, when we were shown screens with better ones.

Could someone see if this would be possible to be made?

Thanks in advance.

The layout of those Engine Order Telegraphs is very impressive, however...

I don't think that those EOT'S will work with the Indicator Needles in the current game (as released)...

The position of the Indicator Needles on the EOT layout is controlled by the hard code... so, untlil the SDK is released, we will have to be satisfied with the current layout of the EOT...

Otherwise, the Indicator Needles will be pointing to the wrong position on the EOT...

But, some guys managed to tweak depth dials so it may show 300 meters. Wouldn't that be done the same way? :hmm:

Perhaps... but, if you look at the EOT layout, notice that the 'speed zones' are multiple and they are smaller in size to the current EOT...

Also, some of the 'speed zones' may not correspond to current speed settings in the game...

But that was the same problem with the depth dials. Original Depth was 260, so 10 meters would be in an area. In a 300 one, 10 meters would be in a smaller curve. For the telegraphs, the problem is the same.
About the speed settings, well, it's just look for some tricky configuration.

The reason 400m depth gauges could be made to work is because the Type 21 already had this, and it was simply modified to work with the other sub types. As the other poster said, it will take an SDK to make engine telegraphs with multiple speed settings work..

Not good to hear that.
There are so many things we could do with that SDK...
