Default What exactly does the Ops in RuB 1.43 mod do?

I noticed there's no readme file with Rub and only a sketchy description on the forums of what exact changes the ops mod brings. Some are known already, like the big expansion of ports and stuff...

Would like to know as I can't play SH3 at the moment, due to my PC needing a new PSU to power my new gfx card. Surely its helpful to others as well? Or am I missing something?

There's been a number of threads. It's mainly campaign stuff - ports, minefields, new historical operations by surface units (Norway, Mediterranean; Bismarck is there too in all its glory), Improved Convoys, and other things that affect the campaign workings.

Keep in mind - this first release is technically just an open first-version beta, which while stable and definitely adds to RUb, is not done by a long shot. You will see improvements to it shortly, first through upcoming Improved Convoys releases (which is part of Ops), and then through subsequent RUb/Ops releases.
