UUV in UAV ?
![]() This UAV could be very interesting to prepare the seals work with fresh data, or to confirm the position of a moving target before a TLAM strike. great potential. Maybe soon they could send it from torpedo tubes ... ? I know french actually develop SAM launched from torpedo tubes, but it is not yet operationnal and this should take long times of development. |

![]() ![]() ![]() near the target - it would be light beacause it would require minimum propulsion/fuel/battery. The UUV could be programmed to surface and radio(etc) back to the monitoring platform - UAV/aircraft/mini-sub etc. The design speci. for the UUV may include many 'mission objectives' other than sonar. ![]() |

UUV or buoys ... why not !
but you will need a buoy station on the sub ![]() anyway it could be a nice way to release a pattern of buoy in total safety for crew : if a SAM destroy the UAV, you don't lost the pilot of the aircraft. But at this time, an UUV will be to much heavy for an UAV |
