Hi, First time posting SUBSIM forum...
Just Clean Installed WIN11, Installed SH3 on Steam The game starts "PAUSED" and can't un-pause. "main.cfg" TIME COMPRESSION fix never works I confirm both at my document and steam SH3 directory SH3/cfg/main.cfg has TIME COMPRESSION settings. (Many report this and no one ever found the solution...) The same thing happens to both my desktop machine and gaming laptop, both WIN11. The SH3 game have run when my desktop had WIN10... One strange thing happens if I change any OPTION in-game, like voice, to GErman, APPLY, and EXIT GAME, but when I re-launch the game, it reverts to ENGLISH. SH3 never saves to and ignores what's written to main.cfg. POSSIBILITY: SH3 not recognizing and not reading cfg files... SOLUTION IDEA: HOW? Have you guys ever heard any similar bug reports? (I mean cfg not recognized) EDIT: I mean almost cleanly installed but I also installed several apps like Visual Studio to WIN11... if needed I'll create an AWS EC2 instance and try with a pure clean installed machine... |

I have OneDrive enabled for Documents without any issue with SH3, however I do have the SH3 documents directory 'always sync'ed' rather than on-demand sync. |
