Default Paris 2024

The Olympic games have already made a false start by starting with Football and Rugby two days before the opening ceremony in Paris.

As a sport fantast there are lots of hours I'm going to watch from the Olympics in Paris

Here are some sports disciplines I'm going follow mostly

Handball-Here it will mostly be Denmark and Sweden I'm going to follow.
Kano slalom
Rowing - Here is my hopes for Denmark
Hockey-Here it will mostly be Germany I'm going to follow.

And athletic of course

Yes IOC is not worth its name and the Olympic spirit. The sportsfolk who attendee is not.

The coverage here in the US is usually subpar. The only events covered seem to be only those events where the US is strong.

For the other events that I like.... good luck finding coverage here.

Then you should take a look at Eurosport 1 and 2 Europe and see how many hours per day they are going to broadcast from Paris 2024 the next 14 days.

Even our own two Danish sport channel(TV2 Sport and TV2 Sport X) are going to show many hours per day.

Find an IP-tv provider who have a box with a build-in VPN you can rent or buy. Thereby you can access the entire worlds tv.

The IOC sold the rights of the Olympic games in 2015 to a Pay TV company in a £920m deal, it begs the question, what happened to the money? and where has athletics benefitted from the money?, this has the stench of corruption written all over it.

I don't know about your countries but, here in the UK there hasn't been any initiatives in Athletics that have been paid for by the IOC, so I will assume it was just another snout in the trough moment by the Olympic Committee.
Sport in general has loads of these shady bastards at the top of the tree, it's time they all went through a root and branch investigation and they were all cleared out.

Starting tomorrow my cable provider has set up two dedicated channels for the Olympics no additional charges. The TV advertising for the Olympics has looked particularly good this year. Boats on the River Seine, street side cafes, Simone Biles. I wish I was at least one tenth as physically fit as Simone.

Snoop Dogg has exploded on the Olympics’ global stage. He’s just being himself

https://apnews.com/article/olympics-...3c08e54ce4a816

[/QUOTE]PARIS (AP) — Snoop Dogg steps out of a sleek black SUV, his entourage in tow, as a Parisian crowd erupts into chants of “Snoop, Snoop, Snoop!” outside the NBC set.

Decked out in a custom-made, Noah Lyles-themed USA sweatsuit, the ultra-smooth entertainer glides past the adoring fans with flashing phone cameras into the Musee de l’Homme. Inside, his longtime friend Martha Stewart greets him with a hug. They chat, clink champagne glasses and then he “crip walks” onto the set to film a Sunday night segment.

OK, the show can start — Snoop has arrived. Literally.

At the Paris Games, grand entrances have become the norm in Snoop’s spectacular Olympic life.

“When the lights are on, that’s when I shine the best,” he told The Associated Press after returning from watching Lyles’ historic victory in the 100-meter sprint and filming a primetime segment with Mike Tirico and Stewart, a surprise guest.

“This opportunity was nothing but a chance for me to show the world what it’s supposed to look like when you put the right person in the right environment,” Snoop said.

Snoop, 52, has become the star of the Paris Games, ascending to new heights with several memorable moments. He’s carried the Olympic torch, captivated audiences as NBC’s prime-time correspondent, swam with Michael Phelps, attended a U.S. women’s soccer game with Megan Rapinoe, danced with Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, and cheered on Caeleb Dressel alongside the swimmer’s wife and son.
