Was the RAOBF real thing in ww2 ?, because i failed to find any information or pictures of it in real life .

It was a prewar thing installed on older attack scopes which would be seen on Type II or even very early Type VIIA boats. The C/2 Standsehrohr (the famous columnar attack scope with foot pedals and seat) did not have this fitted (confirmed with the manuals), dropped in favor of other features.
