Beta 0.26 feedback

Surprised there has not been a thread about this on Subsim yet, so thought I would start one.

Finally got around to doing a deep dive on the new Beta. New UI, sub pens, new graphic and gameplay options, Uboat improvements, lots of new stuff to play around with.

The new Uboat interior is impressive, not just the diesel/electric engine stations, but the fleshed out instrumentation in the command centre and the conning tower.

The new hydrophone station is very impressive, not just the graphical changes, but it feels more flexible than before, seems much easier to use and to track individual ships. I have been having a lot of fun tracking convoy escorts.

The improvements to the recognition manual are also very nice. It seems easier to use and to find exactly what you are looking for.

Very impressed so far and looking forward to see what the future brings.

Glad you like it. Hopefully the finished engine room version will be done in a few weeks.
