radar Start war upgrades

is it possible to make all the upgrades available at the beginning of the war the same as in Silent Hunter 3?
Because I wanted to make a Gato-class ship with two deck guns.
Because I want to replicate the Gato-class ship from Battlestations Pacific.
Is there any option to do this?

That is about a dozen (or more) cans of worms you are opening there... The "Weapons.upc" might be involved, to "open" the dates if necessary (they are usually all NULL, NULL though), and the same with the "Equipment.upc. But you will for sure have to mess with the "Data \Submarine \NSS_SubName \NSS_SubName.upc" file for the deck guns and other dates in the UpgradePackSlot section, as well as ALL of the sections of "Data \UPCData \ UPCUnitsData \UnitParts#SubName.upc" file for the same with the AA guns. Be sure and make a mini-mod you can activate and de-activate with JSGME, to guard against the probable "just-in-case" scenario. You might find something pre-built in the SubSim SH4 Gameplay Mods section. Seems to me that someone did a Balao boat like that...
