DOTmod installation/download assistance?

Not sure if there is another thread I should have reviwed, but...
I've played Cold Waters since 2020, and really want to try the Dotmod. I've watched some of the youtube videos on this, but when I try to launch the dotmod.exe file and after overriding the "you should not let this program run"-warning, the black window just blinks and then dissapears. I have unpacked and put the files in the steam folder on the computer.

Any known issues regarding which ed. to install, or on Windows 11?

Any good step by step-instruction for DUMMIES out there you would recomend?

Don’t bother checking the installation instructions on the GitHub or anything

hes been sorted out he went to DotMod Discord server but yes check the Github or please go to the main Discord Server for dot mod
