I don't think I've seen this mentioned here. There is a great YouTube channel called Smarter Every Day. The host is a rocket scientist who explores all kinds of science topics. Anyway, he has a whole series of videos on nuclear subs. They're a bit light on technical content, and most of the info is probably well-known around here. But what's interesting about Destin's videos is that he is explaining it from an actively deployed U.S. sub (U.S.S. Toledo).
