Does anyone have problems with game crashing when loading old games?

Not sure if its because of the mods but all of a sudden I have the problem of contunuing previously played campaigns. When I load them game turns black and crashes.

Obvious question: what is your modlist and if you changed anything in it since these old saves?

Is it all your saves or just some of them? And for the ones that are crashing, is your boat near a lot of other ships? Were you submerged? I know those were issues with saves in SH3 and they might have carried over into SH5.
