SH3 sub skin mods not working?

Hello guys and girls!
so i installed TKSS 18 german U-boat compilation (i think thats the name of it) but it doesnt seem to work. i still have the vanilla skins. can anyone help me?

Are you using any other mods? If you use GWX you need to have FixAllSubsGWX installed too.

If the mod isn't changing anything check that you have correctly placed the mod within a folder called "MODS" in the SH3 root directory and that you have used JSGME to activate it. If you just place the mod in the MODS folder without activating it in JSGME then it won't show up in game.

i have GWX with the FixAllSubsGWX,M.E..P 6 and tkss 18 german u boat compilation and ive enabled all of them and the fixallsubs doesnt do anything

That's odd, I have a feeling it's an obvious issue causing this. Do you have any other mods installed in the MODS folder that you know work? could you post a mod list?

If you have other mods activated through JSGME that are working then we can eliminate installation errors or issues with JSGME.

Also, what version of SH3 are you playing on? do you have a steam install or is it from disk/another platform that you have the game?

That's definitely the default sub, I can't tell if the environment is the default one, the sea looks a bit like the default one at night not Manos environments. I might be wrong though it's kind of dark.

You may need to patch the game up to version 1.4b, you should be able to find a download for it either on subsim or by searching the internet. I've always had the steam version so I'm not sure if there are any extra steps other than applying the patch.

Clearing out your savegame folder in the \user\documents\SH3\ folder can also apparently fix an issue with no mods showing if you have a lot of saves.
