About Fotrs mod

I am actually quite proud of myself because I downloaded this mod & after figuring out how unzip the download plus JSmge again, I launched the game modded, without coming here for help.

Anyways couple of questions please. On main page in game now it says I have 1.2 version of FOTRS. Is this the latest? I saw something about 1.3, but can't find it or patch. I also saw a beta version, but I'll wait until I get use to mod.
Also, concerning this mod, does it cut down on the number planes the player might see on patrol??, especially in the early part of war. It's what turned me off before about this episode of SH.

Also, I thought this mod was suppose to create more traffic. Like I said I launched game & went on 1st patrol. They sent me down to Marshall Islands, and then intercept shipping. But I have been out at sea for almost all of Dec,'41 and have not seen or heard even a seagull!! I left the boat for dinner, on the way to Gilbert Is. that are showing red(under jap. control.) Even though PAC news said Wake fell I saw nothing there or about. That's a quirk, even though Wake Is. has fallen, it remains blue on map. Is it better to start in Manilla to have more action???

One last thing a patch/update for more traffic(2.0). Is that what's needed for more action??

Thanks to all who do the work for these mods. Otherwise these games would be useless.
