I started re-reading the Master and Commander series last week. Best literary fiction I've ever read. I was most pleased and surprised to come across the Lubber's Hole podcast, an in-depth analysis of each novel by two very knowledgeable chaps.
https://lubbershole.podbean.com/ These two learned coves dissect and review each book with thoughtful care and are excellent at explaining some of the more nuanced writing of Patrick O'Brian. Enjoy! ![]() |

^ thanks for posting, will look at it.
![]() I love the series, especially because a lot of sailing details of those square riggers is explained, in a 'sideway' easy and enjoyable fashion.
