Default Ship recognition

Hi all. I am interested does anyone know if captain logbook lists ship type sunk accurately even if you misidentified the ship manually before?

Interesting thing is in real life, they didn’t have 100% accurate log book.
They (the kaleun) had to estimate the ship tonnage, and quite often even had to ask (a ship sailor survival) for ship name, and then find the tonnage...
I wish we could have something like that in SH3

There is the SH3 log creator.

It replaces the captains Log and you have to keep a track of the ships you sink with estimated tonnage then enter it in at the end of the patrol and BDU either accepts or deny's your claim.

Its good fun.

Very true! Best thing to do if you’re interested in historical play is to just not look at the rec manual, unless you’ve got something like a capital ship or other well-documented warship.
