Short Wave Radio Availability

When does the short wave radio become available? I just started a campaign beginning 6/42 in a Tambor and the radio is missing. I like to reference the convoy routes and listen to the radio of the era.

Never mind...I found what I was looking for in the 'camera' menu.............
