As a fan of Cold Waters, I just discovered Atlantic Fleet by Killerfish Games. So I'm curious what you guys think of it. Is it any good?

Its great fun- i have been playing it alot on my mobile recently
its turn based so its not as realistic as cold waters is going for but it has alot of game play in it - historical scenarios, semi and fully dynamic campaigns the only real criticism is that destroyers are not enough of a deterrence to ones sub activities, i mean if you are the germans and have a sub or wolfpack find a convoy, you can easily just torpedo the destroyers and then the convoy is easily destroyed - i find it too easy to get up close to destroyers (provided my sub is not behind the convoy to start) and torpedo it - the only times it is difficult is if there are multiple escort ships but so far in my campaign i am just in early 1940 so it may still be happy times for the uboot war there is still though a challenge in that one has to find and sink alot of tonnage but also. the surface action component of the game is superb is worth it for that alone - very satisfying gameplay |
