Playable merchant ships

hey, does anyone have some playable merchant ships or passenger like the titanic and what not?

do you mean like a flight simulator for merchant ships?
no disprespect intended but why would you want to play as a deer in a dinosaur game?

Years ago there was an online Game, SeaWolves, or something like that.
You started as a Merchant. If you made it to your destination? You could choose to play as a Sub or a Destroyer or continue as a merchant.
Being it was an online Game with a bunch of people? It was pretty fun.

This is on s7rikeback's mod site, so if I messed up the link, just find a post from him, and he has his collection linked in his signature

ivank folder for Horai and MS Goya liners

There are two mods in that folder. There are several others here on SubSim. Just look through the Downloads section here, like in Downloads / Graphics Mods / Ships. Some in there are playable, others are not...

Now, part of the problem with playable ships is having something to play them in, which can be difficult. If you use the Quick (Single) Missions already in the game, the submarine that was originally used might be submerged to start the scenario. Those missions will not work with a playable ship, unless you don't mind starting in a wooden row boat...
