I ACTUALLY AGRREE WITH RUSSIAN VETERANS OPPOSED TO BURIAL ON RUSSIAN SOIL; THE REMAINS-HORSES INCLUDED- SHOULD BE LOADED RESPECFULLY INTO CONTAINER TRUCKS AND RETURNED TO GERMANY

Its a war grave, Rather than build a highway over it. I suppose invite German officials to exhume and return the soldiers home.
I see the Daily Fail strikes again with the caption. "This item bears the name of the dead German soldier who owned it from Dresden, dated 1937." Its actually a makers mark by A. Aurich Dresden 1937. |

They certainly deserve a proper burial, whether in Russia or Germany is besides the point.
Thanks for sharing the article.

Good points guys, I'd personally like to see them taken back home if at all possible.
