Subsim page colour ('Style Chooser')

I've always liked Subsim "Smart Dark" as my preferred page colour, but I can't change to this when I visit the tank or flight sim pages... why not?

Those forums are locked with their own themes to help keep them distinguishable from the rest of Subsim.
