I tried to download it but it says "please insert disk 7" on the downloader.

I didn have a look around for an answer but the sheer amount of information on this forum is staggering

if I've never installed any mods at all can I just run this without doing a fresh install on the game?

If you never installed other Mod, yes you can .. No need fresh installation
Just maybe is better you delete sh3 folder in documents
