bullhorn Operation Lion Heart

What's up fellas; I'm working on a Dangerous Waters multiplayer mission; please private message me for any advice or tips. This mission will be within 50 NM AOP, based on recent events, off the coast of Syria and Turkey in the Mediterranean sea, involving 3 countries ─ US, Russia, and Turkey.

I'm also looking for some Dangerous Waters event, some sort of deployment, where multiple people are involved; for example─Jacek's Battle for Straits. Thanks. I hope I finish this before or after Christmas. Happy holidays!

Detecting/observing etc. isn't good objective for MP mission. Even for SP it looks boring but there you can use compression of time.

Objective B (especialy "at all cost") is another complication - what will happen when player from one team will detect player from opposite team? Scenario will end or what?

Have you something more than map with geo names?
What about:
- controlable units for each side
- AI units for each side
- event that force side to "hostile action"

FIRST TIP:
You shoud start making mission in your head - not in your 2D graphic application

Can you place your mission file here (as txt)? I can check working of triggers and scripts for you.

This is actually my first attempt at this;

I want to create a mission where in the mission, within 15 minutes or so will trigger an event that will test a Captain's awareness as well as the crew's TMA/analyze capability to figure out exactly that:

1. Is Turkey's military forces hostile or not?
2. Is Russia going on an offensive;

Certain events in the mission will occur; I will also keep mission within 40 nm; it will also be intense, IE. will test the captain Safety of Ship ability and avoid collisions, while maintaining "contact picture;" and preventing counter detection.

Hopefully that makes sense; I simply want a good 30-40 minute multiplayer utilizing all these skills.

Essentially, if another player detects a player; I want a radio broadcast implying just that; again it's sort of creative in here...let's say if another player shoots at you, you're definitely counter-detected, then you have to do the proper courses of action to ensure you stay alive.

P.S. I should've made the mission more clearly but I just didn't know yet until I test the mission once or twice

I'll send the triggers and scripts once I get on that part

I had DW years ago, I mostly just fart knocked around in a kilo, but this looks really cool, I never got to do any multiplayer nor making missions but best of luck to you on this, alot of guys on here can help you out plenty of knowledge on this forum.

lol thanks man. Im an active duty submariner for almost 8 years now. Currently doing shore duty as an instructor for a schoolhouse. Can't get enough of this stuff! We have way cooler simulators though.
