Bare bones essential mods needed

For the 10k time ive reinstalled SH4 on my pc and as such id like to start over on my mod list. it seems everytime i start playing i start modding and spend more time modding than playing. so id like to know what are the bare bone must have cant play the game without for the most realistic authentic experience SH4 mods have to offer ? ive tried RFB, The rising sun, TMO, etc etc. all these major mods are excellent i know so anybody response is appreciated.

Try installing GFO (Webster's Game Fixes Only) and be done with it. You'll be surprised how fun the game is set up that simply!

thats mainly the one i was considering again. i was just wondering if there was anything else to throw in the mod soup with it

Can you copy your entire SH4 install to a new folder and use Multi-SH4 to set up the copy's Save Game folder in My Documents? Some installs won't permit this.

That way if you don't ever play your original install you will never need to install the game again. I have 3 or 4 copies and only mod & play them with different mods. If something turns a copy into mod soup I can just delete it and copy another copy of my untouched original. Usually the Data folder is all that's necessary.

I haven't had to install since I bought this computer.
