Problem with multiplayer (SOLVED)

Me and my friend has been having a problem when trying to play multiplayer, we follow the steps to start up a game, I create the crew, he copied my ip and pasted it where it is needed, however when he pressed ok nothing happened. I then tried it and I too had the same problem.

Are you sure both of you are logged in to Evolve and connected properly? Do you see the green icon? Have you tried running the game as administrator and allowed it through the firewall?

We were both logged into evolve, we both had the green dot and our ips showing, however we have not tried running the game as administrator, and i believe the game is allowed through the firewall. I shall try the two tomorrow.

Try using port 1234 instead of port 7777, for some reason I can't host if I use 7777 but it works if I use 1234 it works.
