I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. He reprised the role of Pavel Chekov with authenticity in the new Star Trek movies. Condolences to his friends and family.

He did a fairly good role as Chekov, and he died far too young, it is a big shame.

With that type of accident, I don't imagine it was a pleasant way to go.

A good but harsh lesson on the importance of getting your vehicle fixed when there is a safety related recall.
