Default Lorient?

I have activated Silentotto and chosen 'Happy Days' Commandant gives me 'Lorient' as my departure Point. Starting in the Bunker (using WoS)
1. Select Harbour Pilot.
2. Select Wilmshaven/Lorient as my position in a bunker.
3 Pilot takes me out of bunker and causes serious damage as we leave and steers us into a wall on the right out of the bunker.

4 Obviously wrong selection by me.
Guessing the right h bunker from them all is going to take a long time.

so where are we exactly? please

Thank You.

Also, when I intially chose the very first mission. Sink the 3 Polish ships, I realised there were no aids(real navigation) so left it which is why I am in the above situation.
How does Shaefer get to be at Memel using WoS?. I followed his Tutorial to install to the letter.

Hi steinbeck
Wilhelmshaven is in Germany Lorient is in France.
Happy Days starts in Wilhelmshaven until June 30th and then moves to Lorient on July 1st
Your Harbour Pilot should be Wilhelmshaven Outbound.

Memel is the first starting port for the Polish Operation.
You must never return to this port.
Did you make a bunker save and then load it before starting this mission?
After sinking the 3 Polish ships you should have received a radio message telling you that your base had been changed to Kiel.
the base icon does not move from Memel until you are well on your way to Kiel.

I just did a re run and there is a Lorient Harbour Pilot. (my carelessness)tried this but still guided into the wall outside the bunker.

Will have to try the usual start 'Kill the Polish ships' but without any tools , Real Navigation doesn't kick in yet I dont think, until after it's done.

Hi steinbeck
Real Navigation is just a mod.
If it is enabled you have Real Navigation in your game.
If it is disabled then no Real Navigation and you will see your sub on the map.
Peter.

Peter.

I'm trying to learn the Art of Real Navigation. Right now doing a Historical(Hysterical) mission, just sawanning around finding things out.Haven't really understood, after a nav fix showing my position, how to give a course. So far I've used the ruler? to show a course but didn't expect all the compass points to be back to front.as in N is at the bottom of the compass.
It looks like I'm somewhere around Scapa Flow, checking shore installations.
When I use my compas out on a mountain then N is north on it.

Now late, off to bed.
