At the beginning of the war I only keep two electric torps in tube 1 and 4. The rest are all steam. I never attack a convoy in day but if I have to, the first attack can be electric, by the time they hit, the steam torps are already on the way.
By 41' I keep more electric torps on my boat.

Assuming you are a skilled Kaleun and in your flotilla chief's good books, you may chose your loadout according to your preferences. Keep Atos in the deckcontainers and make the internals a 1/3 to 2/3 mixture of any kind you like.

Im interested in historical info, I have my way to load torpedo type.
I was looking for something like the limitation of 2 electrical at beginning of the war.

I'm not aware of any order like this for any year of the war. I doubt there was a general torpedo loadout order.
If enough liverwurst was available, they stored half a liverwurst for every crew member per sortie. If only bratwurst was available, they used it instead of liverwurst - and didn't refuse to leave port. Kaleun Schickelhofer preferred liverwurst, Kaleun Buckelberg favoured bratwurst.
