First of all -this idea is to whoever want or could be interested in creating this very big scenario
How long this scenario should be I don't know-it's up to the creator The idea is very simple It start small- First part of the scenario crisis between Turkey and Russia-which turn into a war-NATO doesn't join, but give aid to Turkey Second part of the scenario The Crisis in Crimea gets deeper and ends in full scale war between Russia and Ukraine-NATO give aid to Ukraine. Part one and two turn after a while into a full scale war between Russia and NATO Part 3 of the scenario North Korea see a chance to attack South Korea USA gets involved in this war immediately My idea to this scenario What if some of our known crisis turn into real war and NATO/USA gets involved As some over general you have to control your forces in three wars and in three different places in the world. Hope some will create this mission-Know it's going to take time. Of course the is only two wars two of them is between Russia and NATO/USA(Turkey and Ukraine) and war on the Korean peninsula Markus |

Actually, I supposed to create a bunch of hypothetical scenarios, that take place in Black Sea region. However, I didn't plan em to grow into full-scale world war. Unfortunately, I hadn't enough time to deal with the editor. Hopefully, I'll find a possibility to proceed.
If someone would decide to make scenarios on similar subject, feel free to contact me whether discussion is needed. |

Three issues with having this in one scenario:
1) The more units in a scenario, the more performance bogs down. Even simulating a regional war on any realistic scale often pushes fairly strong computers to get really slow. Two or three wars would mean a very laggy game, or a very simplified conflict. 2) The scripting and mission assignments start getting problematic, because you need to separate the areas in the game logic, and you might have trouble doing that. For instance, you might end up in situations where fighters in Korea might decide it's a good idea to try and refuel over the Ukraine... 3) More generally - what would this be simulating? CMANO works on a tactical to operational scale; it simulates the the perspective of, at most, an operational command - it might be an operation in a very big space, but still an operation. For this scenario, it sounds like the strategic level is involved. CMANO is not really well-suited to simulating multi-theater strategy and I don't think any military officer would think that having operational control of multiple theaters at the same time is a good idea. I'd split these into separate scenarios - they're all good idea on their own! |

Two thing
1. I wasn't aware of these 3 things 2. After have read Ahead Flank's answer I thought why not make it into 3-4 part scenario, where each scenario continue from where the last ended and the last is the biggest. Back to number 1. I recall some one mentioned problem with scenarios who are very complexed. Hope some will, as you wrote make 3 scenarios where my ideas is used. In another thread made by me, called WWII in a modern version I have posted an idea about a Korean war, how it start small and develop into a full scale war between NK and SK/USA. Markus |

There's an existing community pack scenario called Crimean War Episodes: Operation Tiger Rifle dealing with the titular area.
