Default OMG, I'm so glad I kept my copy of SH4!

Hello All! I am very excited to join this vast domain of seafarin' comrades. I'm a 20 year vet of Navy. Sadly no sub time but I did 2 ship tours while I was in. I am so happy to see that this game is alive and well and that there are users out there MODDING it?! Wha? Really?! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally get to play this again. It's been years since I played and I decided to pick up the box and try an install on my Win 10 system but I discovered that Steam has SH3-5 in a nice neat package and decided to install that instead. I am so glad I did. I couldn't contain the smile on face from just patrolling the seas. My son, who is 10, was very excited and interested in how to play this game also. After years of playing FPS's and other games nothing compares to this very well rendered and lifelike simulator. Regards to all.....

Welcome aboard from another old sailor. Yes, the Silent Hunter games are all heavily modable. For more information on what, where and how, just look through the different forums and ask any questions you like.
