Seeing the way XBox and PS/2 are going, i wonder how anyone can voluntarily choose one of those platforms, instead of a PC that can do it all, and better. For the industry it's clear: Money. But why do customers jump this train ? ![]() Regarding business and companies almost all use Windows as frontends, while the real backbone work internet-wise is done by Unix/Linux machines in the background. Apple is meanwhile far away from professional computing when it comes to industry, even graphic suites have adapted to Windows OS (and they run even better there, Adobe CS as the main example). Win 10 is not that bad, but it is illogically structured, not necessary (Win7, Win8) and relies on the same bad registrry techniques than its forerunners. New body on an old chassis. Why didn't they develop OS/2 instead ? ![]()

I think the two performance drivers nowadays are:
- computer gaming. - Visual stuff such as 3d rendering.

I've read a number of different places that 2016 is going to be a very good year for PC gaming.
