So I play with weapons officer auto target on, planning on turning it off when I get better, but I have encountered a problem. Whenever I left-click to stop moving my periscope, the mouse immediately clicks the fire button and I usually waste a torpedo. I am running GWX 3.0 with all of these mods installed
GWX VIIC41 player sub GWX merged campaign GWX enhanced damage effects GWX 16km atmosphere GWX merged campaign GWX no medals on crew GWX das boot main menu movie mod Thomsens sounds GWX integrated orders and a u boat skin mod and a das boot music mod If anyone can help me with this that would be awesome |

That often happens when there is also another mod for widescreen resolutions applied to the game. Then the mousecursor is released to the fire button location and accidentally fires the torpedo when clicking.
This thread covers the same issue: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=189092 Frau Kaleun has a link to disable the fire-button, forcing you to fire with only CTRL-Enter. Or use a GUI mod that is made specifically for widescreen resolutions. |
