Default Need Help to Mod Some Files

Is there a way that I can make the Stadimeter water line more visible? It's almost impossible to see it at night through the scope.

Also I would like to increase the size of the bearing indicator in the binos, for the same reason as above and move it either lower or to the top of the screen.

Thanks

This is a good mod that you may like that addresses your issues:

There are screenshots in the topic so you can preview it, see how it looks, plus the correction is nice. : )

Thanks aanker for the recommendation.

As the following two game images show, there is a difference between the stock game and Optical Targeting Correction. The main difference with the bearing indicator is the center line in the OTC mod has been added. I didn't make it as large as OTC's Attack Periscope, or TBT, bearing indicator but, it should get you in the right direction.

Unlike some mods, I left the red recital in the center of the binoculars. How else will you know you've spotted, and pinpointed an airman for rescue without it?

I suppose the most apparent difference is the size of the objects within the viewable screen. This is done with scaling the view to match the actual size of the object compared to the actual corrected distance to the object. The binoculars used in real life usually had a magnification of 7x compared to the normal eye. What's more important is that an object covering the distance of 1 degree in bearing at 1000 yards distance will have a measurement of 52.333 feet in length. Knowing this, I was able to "scale" the Field of View to match this measured distance.

Once the FoV was corrected, it was easy to compare the 6x magnification of the high power Attack Periscope (the periscope is the better measurement tool due to the larger bearing indicator of OTC's) to attain the 7x power of the binoculars.

As far as the waterline at night being hard to see.......well, real life wasn't any better.

Well the reason I originally asked about the binos is because mine look like this.

With the following mod order:

01 TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5
02 TMO_25_small_patch
03 RSRDC TMO v502
04 RSRDC v5xx Patch1
05 1.5_Optical Targeting Correction 031312 for RSRDCv502
06 1.5_OTC for 8 to 5 Aspect Ratio RSRDCv502

As you can see, mine looks nothing like yours. Any idea what may have happened ?

Are you also using OTC_Realistic Scopes for 8 to 5 Aspect Ratio?

The mods I have installed are listed at the bottom of my post. But no, I'm not.
