I finished my first mission "Baltic operations."
I went back to Kiel and and now i'm halfway through the Kiel Canal. When I see the list of objectives, I read "Baltic operations in progress" ..... ????? Not completed? Henny |

Check the date your mission ends. Might not show completed until you reach it

Hi icthird
The missions are all date orientated. On September 4th you will still see the Baltic Mission On September 4th Eastern British Coastal Waters will be added. If you were coming into Kiel harbour from the Baltic on September 4th at 00.01 you would see Eastern British Coastal Waters appear on your nav map. If then you had ended the Baltic mission you would have been able to have requested the Eastern British Coastal Waters mission. Further missions will be added and others will finish depending on their dates. For further understanding of this have a look at my tutorial on post #64 If you want to be able to request missions you must be at sea before the mission date appears. I have never done this but you could try ending the patrol at one of the harbours on the Kiel Canal. If that works you should then be able to request the Eastern British Coastal Waters mission. Completed missions relied on the campaign icon crosses being filled along with the tonnage bar. The game has been changed to remove this element and you have the freedom to basically do what you want. To progress you will still need to do certain things. sober explains all this on his mega mod post #1 which is always a good read. Peter

As was said above, the missions come and go per dates. You might show up in port and find now missions available.
Evidently missions don't even really matter now in WoS. They've removed the tonnage bar, so pretty much it's like SH3 where you just go on patrol after patrol, sinking as much as you can to earn as many promotion points and renown as you can. The missions don't really matter, other than that they give you a patrol grid objective. Steve |

Hi Henny
Make sure you do BTF first as this has a limited number of days to complete. Do not forget that now when you end the patrol the next patrol jumps ahead by nearly a month. vecko has increased it in TWOS from the previous 14 days. Peter
