Hello everybody and thanks to subsim for having me!

I'm a Silent Hunter III player and I have a growing interest in U-boats which began, I would say, with the movie Das Boot. I suppose that's probably par for the course. I am also reading/watching everything I can get my hands on that has anything to do with U-boats. It's the human aspect which appealed to me initially, imagining the fear and tension that the crews must have felt on board a U-boat; then I found Silent Hunter and discovered that the reading was essential to aid in being able to play the game. Obviously I'm still very much a novice so stand by for questions!
