Default About "100 Years Ago Today"

I love that thread it's so fantastic to read what happen day for day for 100 years ago in WWI.

My favorite warhistory is American civil war and WWII.

Thinking...do I have to wait until september 2039 before some great member create a thread called "100 Years Ago Today"

To Jimbuna and Sailor Steve You are doing a great job..keep on posting

We talked about doing a '75 Years Ago Today' last September, but doing both would be too much work. I already spend two or three hours every day just getting the little bit I do.

September 2039? I'll be 89, so I doubt I'll be in any shape to do that kind of thing...if I'm even around.

Not at all! You become that 'great member' and focus on your favorite time delineation and post your astute and insightful historical observations in that fabulous thread "This Date in History" as attested to by the generous voters of 2014...by one vote!

Your comments are greatly appreciated Markus

Pay little heed to Steve....if we're not around in person we'll certainly be in spirit
