Default Possible To Have To Copies Installed?

Reason being, I have the SH4 Galopping Ghost full mod installed. I was wondering, under my same "G" game partition to install the vanilla version also and tweek it outside of ome of the perimeters of Galloping Ghost such as the external view, etc. that the Galloping Ghost mod won't allow you to do...or will there be conflicts?

I love the 100% realism of Galloping Ghost, but sometimes like to just watch the outside eye candy too at times.

Thanks!

Sort of. You can copy the entire \Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific folder to a different location, including the desktop, create a shortcut to SH4.exe in that folder, and run two or more different versions of SH4. The only potential problem is the save games, since those are always in the My Documents folder you need to use some kind of code number or letter in the save game names so you don't get confused as to which version they belong to.

Also Silent 3ditor and SH4MissionEditor.exe will open whichever folder was opened last, so if you intend to edit F:\SH4new\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Library\Torpedoes_US.dat then you need to check that it's not opening C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Library\Torpedoes_US.dat instead.

Aside from that you can run as many copies as you want.

Download MultiSH4. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...do=file&id=433

It will create multiple savegame folders and keep your games out of one another's way.

Merry Christmas!
