VIIC Africa Patrols?

I keep getting DT patrol grids from BdU but Im driving a VIIC. Did did VII`s ever actuly patrol that far south?

Theoretically, they could patrol far beyond their original range by the help of supply ships and milk cows all over the Atlantic. By the way, you can modify the assigned patrol grid at your discretion in SH3 Commander.

Oh I do. cause I don't think there is any way for me to reach that far south.

Early in the war they made a few long-range reconnaissance oriented trips with type VII's as there were only a few type IX's.
