Annoying TC reset in coarse weather

Well, the title pretty much explains my problem: Every time I want to chase a ship in periscope depth during bad weather, the waves block the line of sight to my prey for a tiny little moment every two seconds. Then I spot the enemy again, which tosses me out of TC, so I have to hammer my [+]-key.

I have GWX 3.0 installed and I use the SH3 commander; I checked the settings of the latter but I didn't find anything that fixes it.
Oh and inbefore the obligatory "Google it", that didn't work either

Did I miss something in the settings or is there a mod that fixes it?

You should be able to follow it using the hydrophones..

plots rough course on the map and get your boat into an intercept position and then you only need to look at it through the scope when you make your attack.

I think the TC may be related to you losing lock on target due to rough sea.

Yes I know, I just like to see the ships I'm chasing. I guess that will have to do... still thanks for replying.

Hi Nyghtrid3r. Welcome to SubSim.

Another work around is to follow target on map screen.

I like your sig. Very cool.

Thanks friend! I was pretty astonished when my uncle told me that

Also thank you for the advice, I'll just have to take the rough course of the ship and work with that I guess. Going for high realism now, so I'll have to rely on that anyway.

WELCOME ABOARD!

I know this doesn't really help, but my personal preference is to never use TC if I'm close enough to see my target. One reason is that I like the thrill of the chase. The other is that I once tried to do an end-around in a fog, went to TC and was kicked out again when the ship rammed me.
