Will SH4 CD version work with Steam U-boat addon?

Hi guys

just a quick question if anyone knows.

I have SH4 installed from CD on my PC and I can see on the Steam website U-boat missions addon pack which is 1.5 version is only £6.99

So does anyone know if this would work or would i need to buy both games again on Steam as the CD U boat mission costs quite a lot more from amazon/ebay in UK??

I don't think the Steam version of u-boat missions works with the CD version of SH4, however I know for a fact that if you just buy the u-boat mission expansion from Amazon, that will work with the CD version of SH4. I don't know how much just buying the u-boat expansion from Amazon would be in the UK, but I know here in the US it was the same price as steam offered.
