Never played it but reading some reviews it seems like the main gripe is its simplified interaction which for a beginner to such games is a good thing for someone with more experience it could be a negative.

It has potential, but fell short, not really too bad, but few scenarios. Here is the only mod I know of that will expand on the original release.
