CARRIERS AT WAR sale

'Carriers at War' is on sale this week at Matrix, and I was thinking of buying it.

What do people here think of it?

Never played it but reading some reviews it seems like the main gripe is its simplified interaction which for a beginner to such games is a good thing for someone with more experience it could be a negative.

It has potential, but fell short, not really too bad, but few scenarios. Here is the only mod I know of that will expand on the original release.
