I play silent hunter 4 currently, and stayed away from SH5 because I heard that it was not as good a the previous titles. I would really like to try out the game, as it looks good. Can anyone tell me the big differences between this one and SH4? I'm sure that by now there are mods to fix the things that people didn't like about this game. I would also like to know if the campaign works the same as the previous titles as well. Thank you!

You need a decent computer to run SH5. Just got a new laptop and it has made a big difference. Nothing like playing it in 1080p. Doing the same
with SH4 and it looks great as well. Welcome to SUBSIM by the way bongo0310 ![]() |

Well for starters the graphics are a major improvement. You're also playing as the Germans unlike SH4.(unless you have the U-Boat missions expansion). Sadly like SH4 the game isn't really all that good unless you're using the supermods.(Or a mod soup combo containing a zillion mods.)

Thanks guys! i think my computer will be able to run it alright, i just built a new one. Do the super mods have all those other mods in them? or are they overhauls by themselves? which do you suggest for SH5?
