good info here! I'll rest a little easier. I keep all mine in a metal trunk that goes out of the house. Still not sure about three cans of black powder for re-enacting though. Thanks for that post.

This is good to know from a safety viewpoint.

I never had the experience of having ammo go off while fighting a fire. I have heard stories from some of guys.
