Default External Torpedoes

Hi Guys, Just coming toward the end of my patrol, all torpedoes fired except an external bow one. Unfortunately the weather is terrible so can't reload and was wondering if the sea would be calmer nearer the coastline or in a natural harbour.
I'm guessing not but just thought I'd ask anyway

Obviously I realize I can wait for calmer weather, hope you understand my point, in real life I'm thinking a Uboat could maybe reload in a sheltered costal area

Nope. Unfortunately the current crop of SH games do not show the calmer wates in protected areas. There is a reason for the phrase "safe harbor", but not in SH3.

Don't be too concerned about the weather because in SH3 you can reload in any weather....the only platform you can't use are the deck gun and anti aircraft weapons.

My apologies, I was under the impression you were referring to internals.

IRL the boat wouls be submerged for calmer conditions to ease the reload procedure whenever practical.

I think close to harbors the wind speed always drops to 6m/s (still ridiculously high waves inside a u-bunker).

IIRC, it also happens close to land at least when breaking through at Gibraltar
