A vet who was very troubled was found dead in upstate New York after emailing his father telling him he was leaving everything he owned to him.

A sad tale indeed.

It would seem that is the way he planned to go. Just walk into a deep freeze and fall asleep.

Hey, I've climbed that mountain.

Not to sound dark, but he died with a beautiful view. It's where I'd want to go to die.......

My plans If I'm ever terminally ill.
When the last day I'm still able to get up there and a cure is nowhere near my time, I'll take a walk to the top of the hill overlooking my house, climb the rock on top of it and overdose on something painless but deadly.

As soon as the weather clears I'll go up there and post photos

At least this bloke had the decency to do it in a deep freeze. I don't however condone the actions he took as several search parties had to both deal with the body but also go looking for him in the worst winter conditions in a while.

That's exactly what I mean. I have no problem with a persons right to end their own life but doing it in a manner that puts others at risk is just selfish.
