I am so tired of the Monday night football games sucking!
they should just select a divisional matchup for Monday nights and stop picking random teams they hope will be a good game just because they were good last year. that's why we often get these 40-7 blowouts that are boring unless its your team getting 40 points. its reminding me of college games, not worth watching they should start the year with the superbowl and conference championship rematch games like they already do but after that take the 8 divisions (4 AFC and 4 NFC) and select a division matchup game from each one. this gets you well into the season so you know which teams suck and nobody wants to see then pick from the remaining games that will mean something for the last 6 games I don't know if it would be the best solution but I just don't look forward to Monday nights anymore, its just boring ho-hum meaningless games |

I felt the same way with the Thanksgiving day games. Same teams year after year. Finally started mixing it up. A prime time game. This year it is Ravens and Pitt.

yep, I mean wasn't the whole point is to be a "prime time" "featured game of the week" and not just another regular old game just played at a different time and they hope you care enough to watch
gimme something im looking forward to watching and I don't want to miss im not saying its all because of the Thursday night games or the NFL network they keep trying to find a way to force people to buy but that's when it started going down hill fast |

I agree sir. I can say the Ravens(my team) played prime time a season ago and looked awful. Game was a wash. Team looked ridiculous on national TV. Traditionally it is Cowboys/Lions on Thanksgiving. There was a rivalry years ago. Not so much anymore. Kind of a yawnfest. Post up Ravens and Pitt Thanksgiving evening then you got something.

Get NFL Sunday ticket at a price of around $300.00...
So you can have access to all the games. That's their tale, I sit on mine. (if you can watch more than one at a time that is) Then there's those games considered local to your area that are blacked out in an effort to get you to actually buy a ticket or two and show up at the stadium for overpriced drinks, parking, snacks and cheesy souveniers. that you have to wait in line for, missing at least one quarter of play. Besides, it's getting to the point where pro football isn't worth watching anymore with all the new rules and the fines for hitting too hard. They're turning the players into pansies and the game into a penalty nightmare. We might as well start a powder puff flag football league with chicks in bikinis. You'd be all over that wouldn't you, Dowley?

It is tough to decide a year in advance what matchup is going to be a good game to watch.
Traditionally, the Raiders have given the Broncos fits when they go to Denver to play. Not sure there is a way to fix this. |
