Question regarding which mod-package to go with

Hey all,


I'd like to ask some advice on which mod-package to go with. I started with getting sober's list, and getting that to work. I managed to do that and I'm amazed at what I'm looking at.

Then there's Sjizzle's list .. he's using the CSPmagui interface, and after looking a little at what that has to offer, I'm starting to think I might like that too ... and thus I'm comparing both lists atm, trying to define what sets the two apart.
I bet that I will keep having this issue for the next year with the amount of mods available, but I wonder if people who use either Sjizzle's or sober's collection, could comment on why they choose one over the other ?

If it's preference, what exactly do you prefer about the one you choose to go with ?

I corrected your title because mod "soup" is a term to describe a game corruption cause by using mods and not a term used to describe a group of mods

Magui interface it's less CPU heavy as TDW's UI...and i like the interface from magui but i play both UI's ...
when i want to play 100% then i play Sober's mod list cos the Real Navigation doesn't work with magui u can play also with no map contact update with magui interfaces but u don't have real navigation...

Do we have multi-SH5 application? Or you just quit the game and enable another mod list?

i play with both UI's but not in same time .... when i want play 100% realistic i play with TDW's UI when i want to play 100% but without real navigation a play with magui interfaces

No, not that I am aware of. Enable another mod list at the bunker. Most likely a CTD will happen, all depends on how dramatic the file changes/order is. If CTD happens with different modlist at bunker, a new campaign needs to be done.

I just save the modlist with a different name under save profile for JSGME. I name my game saves with name references from the modlist I am using.

If you got enough space on your HD I suppose you could just copy your main installation and paste it in another position.

Well yes, but multi-application is way more comfortable for this. Hope we get 1 some day
